I Love to Create
Hello! My name is Josh Mindemann and I’m what you might call a modern day Renaissance man. I’ve spent years developing my eye as a photographer, painter, graphic designer, and filmmaker. I graduated from Cameron University with a bachelor of art in 2019.
I started shooting photos for my friends and family in 2005 before branching out to shoot paying jobs. I began my career photographing seniors but that soon grew into family sessions, maternity and newborn shoots, and eventually boudoir.

Boudoir, or intimate, sensual, and romantic portraiture, is now a large part of what I do. To me, these photos are not just about physical beauty but about confidence and freedom. I love seeing my clients' self esteem blossom. Making people feel good about themselves and helping them see their own beauty is what makes the job worth it.

I began learning photoshop very shortly after purchasing my first camera in order to enhance my photos and shape my artwork into a final product I would be proud to present. My experience with editing is one of my greatest advantages in photography. Likewise, my knowledge of photoshop led to my growth as a graphic designer. One of my very first jobs was creating t-shirts for the world famous Mo' Betta Clothing Company. As I developed my proficiency, I picked up other jobs creating logos and artwork for local business. In 2018 I re-designed Oklahoma's Sequoyah Book Award emblem which led to me landing a job re-designing the Oklahoma Library Association logo.
Film is another passion of mine which led me to start shooting my own projects. I've worked on my own films as well as helped other crews with film festival entries. I am primarily an editor but I have experience directing, producing, shooting, and acting. In many cases I have been a one man crew for my personal projects. Short films helped my shape my style which led to commercial jobs like promotional videos for Candy's Canvas, Red Dirt Bar and Grill, and Wagyu Japanese BBQ. I also have fitness videos, music videos, and real estate videos under my belt.

Painting is my most recent pursuit. I have some experience with oil and acrylic; winning the Wichita Falls Regional Art Battle in 2019. My favorite medium, however, is watercolor. I love the immediacy of it. I paint quickly with fluid, loose strokes that infuse my art with energy. I've been drawing with pencils, chalk, and charcoal since I was little but only picked up painting in 2017. In that time I've had collectors from Texas, Oklahoma, California, Colorado, and Illinois purchase my work.

I love to create and if there is any kind of art you need, I would love to make it for you.
